On December 6, 2022, the Central Bank of Nigeria announced that from January 9, 2023, individuals will be unable to withdraw more than ₦100,000 ($135) and ₦20,000 ($27) daily over-the-counter (OTC) and from ATM/PoS, respectively. Organisations can withdraw up to ₦500,000 ($676).
