Welcome to Versailles! We were in France, in December 2019. Right smack during the French transport workers strike! We arrived in Paris CDG that morning and after checking into the Holiday Inn at Gare de L'est, we decided to make our way to Versailles! Versailles was usually very full with tourists, but today, due to the transport strikes, the crowds were noticeably thinner. We had originally planned to get here using the RER trains, but since the trains weren't running, we had to use UBER.

There were no queues to get into the attraction, it was that uncrowded. The video footage shows you some of the interesting rooms indoor, as well as the sprawling grounds outside. It was quite pretty and definitely worth a visit.
