I have known for a while that Edgar Wright is a popular and acclaimed film director, but I hadn't seen any of his movies. After watching Baby Driver earlier this year, I figured that I would catch up to the other four movies in his filmography and I has easily become on my favorite directors working today.

After falling in love with Baby Driver, I bought the official soundtrack and listened to it many on my drives back and forth to work. My Favorite track is the song "Hocus Pocus" by the band Focus. Its a rock n' roll instrumental song with a killer beat and very unique shifts in tone that made me play it over and over again. At one point, I realized that this would make a great song for a action-packed movie montage. It's practically primed for Wright's "Edit to the Beat" signature he used heavily with 'Baby Driver! And what better movie montage than one that celebrates all of Edgar Wright's crazy awesome movies.

I had this idea in my head for several months now and I was able to start working on it a few days. I thought I was going to take my time with this project but I had this fever passion to get it done with constant shifts in ideas to make it good. I wanted to honor all of Wright's films, capturing his vibrant styling of dynamic action & visual comedy/satire; while somehow highlighting their undeniable wit & genuine heart. Trying to give all five movies a equal amount of clip screen-time was a bit of a challenge but in a time frame of 24 hours, I managed to do just that and if you look closer, you'll see most of the clips I assembled match up so perfectly with the music from cuts and on-screen movements (which perfectly tributes the filmmaking that went into making Baby Driver actually!).
