In this video, I will show you how to reset your Canon Pixma printer MG3040. This can be helpful if your printer is not working properly or if you want to start fresh with the default settings.
Steps:
Make sure that your printer is turned on.
Press and hold the RESUME/CANCEL button until the ALARM lamp flashes 19 times.
Release the RESUME/CANCEL button.
Your printer will be reset to factory default settings.
Tips:
If you are having trouble resetting your printer, you can try turning it off and then on again.
You can also try resetting your printer from the printer's control panel. To do this, press Setup, then Device Settings, then Reset and then Reset All.
