A 31 years old gentleman came to us suffering from excruciating back pain for more than 3 months with progressive deformity and paralysis of both lower limbs.
He had been trying various forms of treatment including Jhakris (Shamans) and even getting stung by hundreds of bees. Investigations showed destruction of bones in the spine with compression of spinal cord.
He underwent surgery followed by intensive physiotherapy at our centre.
Five months later, he is back to his work. His recovery makes our work feel more meaningful.
