I spoke to a co-worker a few weeks ago who mentioned Bachata Restaurant, located at 822 E. Main Street, Stamford, CT. This co-worker said they are known for great food. I read some yelp reviews before I decided to stop down and they were mixed, but overall not bad. Some of the biggest complaints were: cold food being served, "salty rice" and "Viejos", old, homeless men from the neighborhood, that just hang out there without eating? Seems far fetched, so I decided to stop by and find out for myself! Is the food cold and salty? Are the prices reasonable? Are there people just "hanging out" in the restaurant, panhandling?
