Changemaker20 is a live “Ask Me Anything” style forum on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays at 12:30 PM EST.
In this session Rachel Parent, Food activist and TEDx Speaker, discusses the new realities of climate change and sustainable foods as we do a deep dive into the many changes we've seen through these last few weeks, and the long-term effects on the planet, as well as what we look forward to on the horizon.
For the past five years, Rachel Parent has positioned herself as a strong advocate for the mandatory labeling of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in our food. In 2012, Rachel founded Kids Right to Know, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating youth about food safety and healthier food choices, challenging them to claim their right to know what’s in their food, and demanding GMO labeling in Canada. Rachel is also the Youth director of Regeneration International and the founder director of Gen-Earth.Org event.
