Ludwig Uhland’s poem "Hohe Liebe" speaks of the heaven on earth that has come from being drunk in the arms of love. Liszt's transcription here is one of his best, and my favourite of this particular set. Yet again, uploads shall be slow as I embark on the next exciting chapter of my educational (and musical) journey.
