I absolutely adore French food, and was so excited to attend a baking class at Thobors Boulangerie in Toronto to learn how to make Puff Pastry (Pate Feuillete) and Galette des Rois.
Galette des Rois is a pastry served during the month of Epiphanie. Flaky Puff Pastry encases a rich Almond Cream that is to die for.
I was so lucky to have the owners of Thobors, Sylvie and Marc, share with me their secrets for making an amazing Galette (there's is the best in the city by the way!)
If you're interested in taking a class at Thobors or just dropping by their bakery to pick up some treats, I would highly recommend it. You will immediately feel transported to France :D
