Dear viewers this is not a produced instructional video, but just a video I did for some of my students of a group class that had learned this rhythm, from me.
"Caballo" or sometimes referred as "A Caballo" is derived from the Martillo Rhythm on Bongó, as an adaptation to the congas, and further developed. Used in Jíbaro Music (PR, see: "Seis Chorreao sample here: [ Ссылка ] by the great Giovanni Hidalgo) and heard sometimes on Cuban música campesina, as well as in Cumbia (non traditionally played) and as an accompanying rhythm to compliment the Tambora in Dominican Merengue rhythm.
