One way to fix the Failed to Install dependency error on Kodi 17.3 Kyrpton when install a new add-on or updating a older add-on is to delete the Addon27.db file and restart kodi.

- Select Settings
- Select File Manager
- Select Profile Directory
- Select Database
- Right Click or Hold (Depending on device) Addon27.db and delete
- Restart Kodi
