This major retrospective of Joaquín Torres-García covers his production dating from his earliest works in late 19th-century Barcelona - where he became one of the most recognized painters of the Noucentisme movement – up to his late works, produced in Montevideo in the 1940s.
It has been organized by The Museum of Modern Art, New York, in cooperation with Museo Picasso Málaga and Fundación Telefónica and curated by Luis Pérez-Oramas, Curator of Latin American Art at The Museum of Modern Art, New York.
