The assault case against Julius Malema and Mbuyiseni Ndlozi continues today at the Randburg Magistrates Court. Yesterday EFF leader Julius Malema and party MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi’s legal representatives questioned why the vehicle they were travelling in on the day of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela’s funeral was not granted access to the Fourways Park Memorial Cemetery after it was screened by police. The vehicle had been screened at the Orlando Stadium where the funeral service took place, but was said to have no permit by a police officer. Mbali Thethani reflects on yesterday's events in court.
