Kris Fant, a 5 foot 2 inch Adventure Woman, bought a new 2019 KTM 690 Enduro R, which has a notoriously high seat. In order to customize her bike for her 27 inch inseam, she had a shop install a Kouba link KTM8-2 with a 1-5/8 inch drop, raised the fork tubes, one inch, and had the stock seat shaved lower. She also had to cut her side stand down. Kris shared her videos and photos with me so I could share them with you. For the rest of us doing it ourselves, the best options are the KTM8-Dakar link = 7/8" rear lowering, and the
KTM8-1 link = 1 1/4" rear lowering. The KTM8-2 is only for 2008-2018 KTM 690s, as the 2019 requires extensive modifications.
