Rafting the Full Canyon segment of Grand Canyon National Park is the ultimate way to experience one of the world's seven Natural Wonders. This is no surprise that this is the most popular raft trip offered in the Grand Canyon. On this Full Canyon route, you will experience the very best the canyon has to offer while avoiding a strenuous 9.5-mile hike that is required at the start or end of the shorter partial canyon, upper and lower trips.
Depending on the outfitter’s specific itinerary, most trips originate in Arizona in either Flagstaff, Page, or Marble Canyon as well as one option in Las Vegas Nevada. As the walls of the canyon are low enough to access Lee’s Ferry in Marble Canyon, you will be driven to the launch point, river mile zero, to begin your adventure. You will learn about the inhabitants that occupied the Canyon, the first explorers to map and journal the Great Unknown, and the environmentalists who saved the Grand Canyon from being developed into a series of lakes. Beyond geology and modern history, ancient history is abundant in the Grand Canyon.
