-Evaluate how the inter-relationships among cultural and physical characteristics of each world realm, affect globalization and interdependency.
Course Objectives:
-Evaluate contemporary affairs and problems related to diversity, gender, religion, ethnicity, discrimination, education, economics, slavery, and development, in each realm.
-Assess how interactions between the natural environment and the human environment differ across regions.
-Employ maps to identify world regions, countries, natural features, and human patterns.
-Explain how economic development and political systems affect globalization across different realms.
-Analyze the physical, historical, and cultural geography of each of Earth's twelve realms.
-Compare and contrast the diversity in cultural expression related to food, entertainment, housing, health, conflict, transportation, employment, family, communication, and other lifestyle patterns across the world.
-Generalize the global distribution of realms, population, language, religion, and physical environment.
