The video doesn't show the process, as this is something that is challenging to do without professional support, but the steps are:
1. Identifying what internal movie/soundtrack you are running that produces the feelings of fear
2. Learning to disrupt that movie/soundtrack so it doesn't produce the same fear response. This is achieved using a series of rewinding and mental distancing techniques.
3. Once that internal movie/soundtrack has lost its ability to create that old fear response, a new 'ideal response movie/soundtrack' is created to replace it.
4. This is mentally rehearsed to enhance neuroplastic change which helps the brain to predict a new more empowering response to the previously upsetting situation.
