One of two enhanced shifting modes available in Sram eTap AXS groupset. Compensating shifting mode makes gear change smoother and raider doesn't have to accommodate rear derailleur manually. Once you shift front derailleur the rear derailleur automatically shifts chain by one or two cogs so there is no sudden spike in your cadence while pedaling.
Using Sram AXS mobile application you can change shifting mode to sequential or turn off enhanced modes.
