How does intelligence happen? How does it evolve? Why do different species solve problems in different ways?

If you want to understand human behaviors, animals often have answers for us. But so far, there has been little research on how cognition and psychology evolve. Supported by a grant from the Templeton World Charity Foundation's Diverse Initiative, Duke University's Brian Hare plans to change this. His game changing-tool will allow scientists to collaborate on questions of animal cognition not possible in the past.
