I needed a generator for my new off-grid cabin as well as for those job sites where I didn't have access to electricity. I looked at a number of 2000 watt generators including Honda, Wen, Harbor Freight Predator, Westinghouse, Sportsman, and this Champion. I ended up buying the Champion because I found it locally at Tractor Supply (model #100478). Here's my Champion 2000 watt inverter generator review. As of this video, I have slightly over 400 hours on this generator.

While I did buy my Champion 2000 watt inverter generator from Tractor Supply, Amazon had better deals, I just didn't want to wait for delivery.

The first thing that impressed me with this Champion 2000 watt generator was at how light it was. It comes in at 38 pounds. If I have to put pulling a generator in and out of my pickup at job sites, I don't want it to weigh a ton!

The second thing that impressed me about the Champion 2000 watt inverter generator was how well Champion boxed it. As you can see in the video review, they really protected their generator!

I know there are a lot of other great inverter generators out there. Many of them I mentioned above. But I feel like, for the money, this Champion inverter generator is a great value. It was one of the cheapest inverter generators I found.

The Champion 2000 inverter generator manual is very well done. It contains lots of useful information on the care and operation of your Champion generator.

As for the noise level, the Champion 2000 watt inverter generator decibels are stated at 53 decibels at 23 feet. I can tell you, when running this portable generator at my cabin, I can not hear it when my AC is running. And it's only sitting about 8 feet away from the cabin. It is a very quiet portable generator.
