A local investor known as Wazuri Group will now start producing a water treatment or purification chemical known as Chlorine, according to Investment Minister Evelyn Anite. She was on a tour of the country’s first privately owned manufacturer located in the Kampala suburb of Bweyogelele. She adds that the company will help reduce the import bill for Chlorine imports, which amount to billions of shillings from China, India, the United Kingdom, UAE, and South Africa.
