What's going on YouTube? In this tutorial, I show you how to make and edit a TreeMap chart in Microsoft excel! A TreeMap Chart is an awesome graph that allows you to show data hierarchically, for example if you have states that are categorized into different regions. You can also compare the sizes of different components of your data with this graph as well! In this example, there is a group of states with sales volume for each state where each state is broken into region. I use TreeMap charts to compare the sales in different regions and different states. I also show you how you can organize the data differently to just compare the data by state and not region. After making the graphs, I show you how to edit different components of it such as the title, legend, values, text, and more! Doing this allows you to make your chart really look the way that you want it to for your presentations and reports!
