Today, Christmas Day 25th Dec2023, we like to share with you our first winter cable car adventure.
Armenia is widely known by its fun and breathtaking Ropeway experience.
The view of Armenia and Teghenis Mountain is absolutely spectacular.
Sitting on the cable car all the way, it felt very surreal! The weather at the top was chilly.

Located almost at the top of Mount Tanegizon at an altitude of 1840 m, Tsaghkadzor ski resort is one of the best ski resorts in Armenia and even in Caucasus. It is approximately 60 km northeast of the capital Yerevan. There are three consecutive lifts stretching from the foot of the mountain (1969m above sea level) up till the mountain peak (2819m).
The skiing season in Tsaghkadzor starts in mid-December and stretches well into March, with the top slopes often fit for skiing in April.
Apart from the lifts the resort offers ski and snowboard rental as well as skiing instructors.
Equipment rental cost:
Set of a skier (skis, boots, poles) — 5000 AMD per day,
Set of a snowboarder (snowboard, boots) — 7000 AMD
Glasses & Helmet— 2000 AMD each
Lesson with an instructor — 10,000-15,000 AMD / hour.
