It's over 5,000 years since Stonehenge was built and there's still much that's unknown about this World Heritage Site and the surrounding area.
AHRC-funded #archaeologists from the 'Stonehenge Riverside Project' have discovered a lost stone circle a mile from #Stonehenge, on the west bank of the River Avon. This new discovery has been dubbed Blue Stonehenge after the hue of the stones which once formed it.
This video was filmed in September 2009 on-site in Wiltshire, where Professor Mike Parker Pearson and Dr Kate Welham were interviewed.
