How to Import and Export Davinci Resolve Projects. Resolve projects can easily be imported or exported from machine to machine by email or filesharing. Recent updated versions of Resolve now allow project files from the free version of Resolve to be imported in the Studio version! There are a few import things to remember when importing Davinci Resolve Projects. When transferring a Resolve project file, all the media that is attached in the project will also need to be sent. If you place the media in the same folder as the .drp file when you import the project, Resolve typically reattaches everything. Since new updates change Resolve files, it is also always a good idea to update to the newest version when importing a Davinci Resolve Project. Exporting a Davinci Resolve file creates a .drp file. The drp file can then be imported through the Resolve Project Manager dialog box.
