(1 John 1: 8-10) and (1 John 2: 1,2) - THE CONFESSION OF SINS.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and there is no truth in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we do not sin, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
(1 John 1: 8-10)
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not; and if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
And he is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for the sins of the whole world.
(1 John 2: 1,2)
Dear Brothers, we are studying the First Epistle of the Apostle John. The Apostle John is the Apostle of Love.
And also of the Beloved Apostle by CHRIST.
John, you're talking about something very important to us.
First, it qualifies us as sinners. And there is no denying that we are sinners.
It is a human condition: "EVERYONE HAS SEEN, AND WE ARE REPEATED FROM THE KINGDOM OF GOD, WE DO NOT BELONG TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND WE TRY TO BELONG TO THE KINGDOM OF THE MALIGNANT."
But, by the GOODNESS by the MERCY of God, and by his LOVE, GOD effected the PLAN OF SALVATION.
And this PLAN is effective. And everyone who accepts the PLAN OF SALVATION that is the LORD JESUS CHRIST. IT WILL BE SAVED.
He receives life back, and the right to be part of the KINGDOM OF GOD. The most important thing is that besides receiving life back. We have the right to live with GOD, and with the ANGELS, and to participate in the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
And the Bible says, "THAT WE WILL REIGN WITH CHRIST, FOREVER, FOR ALL ETERNITY."
In order to reign with Christ, it is necessary to accept the LORD JESUS as our SAVIOR.
And John reports here that there is a need to confess our sins to Him.
Because HE IS FAITHFUL. AND JUST, and when we confess our sins, HE FORGIVES us, and justifies us with his own JUSTICE, and by his JUSTICE, we are JUSTIFIED AGAIN.
In Chapter 2, he emphasizes here, that we should no longer sin. But if we sin, he, JESUS CHRIST, acts as our defender before God, being our advocate, and defends us, and justifies us.
And by their defense, we are again justified, and worthy of ETERNAL LIFE. AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
And we will reign with CHRIST ETERNALLY.
AMEN
GLORY TO GOD.
