Aloha. It gives me great joy to participate in this rite of passage. During my graduate studies at a different university, I asked one of my professors, what is the difference between a doctoral dissertation and a PhD dissertation? And he explained it as follows. He said, a doctoral dissertation contributes to the field of your scientific discipline. A PhD dissertation contributes substantially to the field of your discipline. I know that it was my aim to contribute substantially. I had to come to IQUIM in order to do so. My field is shamanic healing. I studied in the jungle and in America and somewhere else with indigenous healers. My dissertation and my research projects are novel approaches because they take place at the interface of spirit and matter, and I could show that shamanic healing, the millennia-old healing methods of indigenous people, practices what quantum medicine proposes, that healing is initiated outside of spacetime where it is enfolded in potentiality, and it is then actualized in spacetime. I could show with my research that life is purposive, that it is conscious, and that it is thus minded. Thank you Dr. Paul, thank you Alexi, for creating IQUIM, for bringing together this fine group of teachers and for providing a forum where we can excel and for giving us this beautiful quantum curriculum that allows us to practice what we in our hearts know.
