For me, it was a search for some large diameter, but with a straight bole floater tree and at least three (3) of them to use to construct a floating houseboat/boathouse, purposely for tourism attraction and use, since tourism is developing and taking momentum in Alotau, Milne Bay Province.
To find and to build and achieve this objective, I had to find a local person to partner with, especially for the land and or a venue to do this construction.
This video presentation due to its length for the entire trip, I have broken the video presentation into three (3) parts as follows:
- Part: 1 - Dinghy ride from Habila Hamlet along the west of Alotau town to Wagawaga Hamlet and to the mouth of Dawadawa River,
- Part: 2 - Dinghy ride from the mouth of Dawadawa River to mid-way up the river,
- Part: 3 - Dinghy ride to the Bush Site and back out of the Dawadawa River and back home to Wagawaga and Habila Hamlets.
Finally, find is the video presentation on the Part: 1, and just hope that you will find it interesting, enjoyable to see and learn about other and or new places.
