I can probably imagine most of you are as shocked as I am when you see the title of this video...but yes guys, believe it or not, we have a breakthrough! FINALLY after almost 1 year of troubles and hard work, I have finally re-energised and brought back Big Flo from the dead, with pretty much all new parts, a shiny stainless steel tub and new door seal, she is now fit for service, ready to wash and be a working part of my collection again. We welcome back the Hoover A3060 Electronic 1100, Hoover's first 1100rpm automatic to the channel permanently. I cannot describe the emotions I felt whilst watching and listening to this machine do a full wash cycle with pretty much no trouble and to finally see water and suds in the tub again. She does a small load of towels and a bedsheet on Programme D - 60ºc Fast Coloureds, doing small loads and 60ºc washes first to gently break-in the machine, before we'll do a traditional vintage boilwash later this month. She may have new parts, but she's certainly not lost her character, she's back to dancing, vibrating and walking, as a true Hoover would. Originally meant to have been done on the 16th January, it's been 1 year that Florence has been a part of my collection. Many more of her and the Margherita to come. Enjoy and thank you all! :).
