Guest Teachers Will be Permanent : Special session will be called in the Assembly By Delhi Government
Arvind Kejriwal's government has talked about making guest teachers permanent. If this happens, this Kejriwal government's other election promise will be fulfilled. Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Wednesday that the government will soon give approval to Delhi's Guest Teachers. In this regard, Delhi Cabinet has prepared the bill. Soon this bill will be passed in the assembly. There is also a plan to invite a special session on October 4 next week.
Who are guest teachers
The introduction of the Guest Teachers in Delhi started in 2009 when the court applied Right to Education and after that it was mandatory for the government to recruit teachers in government schools in Delhi. If the government had permanent teachers, then a teacher had to pay Rs 35 to 40 thousand rupees but in 2009, these teachers were given Rs 7 to 12 thousand rupees. At present, these guest teachers are given about 700 to 900 rupees per day. But no money is paid even for the days of the day, the days they teach, the holiday of the week.
How many teachers are
According to the news, there are around 15 thousand guest teachers in Delhi. From time to time, these people have been demanding to make themselves permanent. They say that the Kejriwal government promised to all the guest teachers before the election that they would give permanent certificates to all the guest teachers. Guest teachers' salaries will also increase. This year, Delhi Government has increased the salaried guest teacher but is waiting for Permanent.
