Started day 7 with some heavy fog again so decided to not visit the Arctic Henge. Was a little sad over it but we would've spend an extra 3 hours of our day to possibly see nothing due to the fog so on we went! Luckily the fog was only at the higher elevations and didn't affect most of our activities we had planned.
We visited Ásbyrgi Canyon and then stopped for some gas and some local pop drink. Tasted different but good! We then headed to Dettifoss and Selfoss waterfalls before taking off to the Myvatn area where we visited Dimmu Borgir and "the Love Cave" from Game of Thrones called Grjótagjá before heading to the beautiful and awesome Myvatn Nature Baths.
Myvatn Nature Baths is known as Blue Lagoon's little sister because it is a similar blue pool but it is located in the northern part of Iceland in Myvatn. I didn't go to Blue Lagoon and instead chose this place because it was half the price, and way less people. I am happy with my decision as I find the Blue Lagoon overpriced....
Next up we have some cave swimming and then some whale watching in Husavik where we try Icelandic fish for the first time. After that we take off to the north of Akureyri to go to the Beer Spa! That was an epic experience.... stay tuned!
