Setup: We configure our DAW with a tempo of 124 BPM and a sample rate of 96 kHz.
Drums: Programming beats using Logic Pro X's Drum Machine Designer lays the rhythmic foundation.
Bassline: We record a bassline in MIDI format using Sylenth1, followed by adding layers with the same keys for depth.
Pad Layer: We record and quantize MIDI for a pad, performing minimal sound design on the preset.
Pluck Hits: After some experimentation, we successfully integrate pluck hits into the track.
Lead: A smooth lead melody is added to crown our chill house composition.
