The 10th annual XTERRA Trail Run World Championship was held December 3rd at Kualoa Ranch on Oahu, Hawaii. The XTERRA Trail Run Series features runs across the country ranging from 5km fun runs to 60km tests of trail endurance. The Series is grouped into geographic regions, and each region has anywhere from 3-to-10 races that runners can compete in and accumulate points towards their regional championship. Regional Champions are awarded free entry into the XTERRA Trail Run National Championship – an off-road half-marathon held in September in Ogden / Snowbasin, UT. Then comes the showdown in paradise where the best meet the best at the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship. #LIVEMORE
