The great news is we are all living longer and keeping our teeth longer. Most of us, including me I hope, will live well into our 80s and 90s and even beyond, and we will keep most of our own teeth. However, we may well lost a tooth or two along the way, and the big question is how to replace them.
There is no doubt that in the last 20 years dental implants have revolutionized the tooth replacement business. These titanium posts are screwed into the jawbone, they bond to the bone, and do not weaken the neighboring teeth. You can bite on an apple, or anything else for that matter, and they are remarkably successful in the long term.
I would love to show you successful results but they really are so good that they are almost impossible to detect. The UCSF School of Dentistry has a great multidisciplinary implant center, and if you want to learn more, I strongly suggest you click the link in the summary section of this video. Thanks so much.
