How To Store Perfumes, Fragrances | Where To Store Your Fragrances So They Stay Fresh A Long Time

A viewer sent me this question recently so I decided to make a video about it.

Question: Hi! I Love your Chanel! How do you store your fragrances? Dark or in the light? Does it make a difference?

There are three keywords for how to store your perfumes and fragrances as best as possible. Cool, Dry and Dark. Follow those three rules then you'll have your fragrances last a very long time.

-Absolutely no to bathrooms
-Avoid heaters or heaters that are close to the perfume
-Keep a consistent temperature
-You can keep perfumes in a refrigerator
-Feel free to use a Wine Cooler
-Closets - best option behind hanging clothes
-Original Bottles vs decants
-Keep the perfumes in their original boxes best in the original coffret/gift boxes or other boxes so it’s all dark
-Keep the caps on your bottles

-Discoloration - exposure to heat or light changes color

-Could last for years, in fact, it’s been proven that perfumes can last a long time as proven by folks who buy
