Like millions of people of my generation, I loved the music of James Tayor from the time I heard singles such as Fire and Rain, and albums like, Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon. However, as I say at the start of this radio program - pulled from broadcast by RTE Radio 1 because of, let's say artistic differences! - I never thought that he would turn out to be such a difficult, at first, interviewee, then, in the end, so utterly fascinating.
