The three principles of the Callan method are:
1. Speaking
Callan is a scripted method that consists of questions and answers. Questions are asked very quickly. That way you get familiar with natural patterns of speech in English. The teacher helps you with the answer by speaking at the same time.
2. Repetition
You may not understand everything the first time. For this reason the work is repeated very often. The more you repeat, the better you remember and understand. The better you remember, the more confident you become. From the first lesson you learn how to communicate in English without translating.
3. Correction
Teachers correct every mistake you make, including pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary, so that you learn to speak as naturally and correctly as possible.
