Over the end of May Bank Holiday weekend the GWSR hosted their 'Western Workhorses' gala. Featuring the first gala debut for new build 6880 'Betton Grange'. The gala would also see a number of new build locos in action, such as 2999 'Lady of Legend' & WSR mogul 9351. Running alongside the visiting locos were home fleet locos, 7820 'Dinmore Manor', 7903 'Foremark Hall' & 35006 'Peninsular and Oriental'.
