Route History
Route 436 began on 8th February 2003 operating between Paddington and Lewisham, Shopping Centre operating with 18 Metre Mercedes Citaro articulated single deckers as a part replacement for Route 36 which ran between Lewisham, Shopping Centre and Queen's Park running in overlapping sections between Paddington - Lewisham, Shopping Centre and Queen's Park - New Cross Gate.
On 19th November 2011 Route 436 was converted to double decker operation, between 2009-2011 all bendy buses were removed from London's streets from Routes 12, 18, 25, 29, 38, 73, 149, 207, 436, 453, 507, 521 all apart from Routes 507 & 521 are now running with double deckers.
On 19th November 2016 Route 436 with withdrawn between Paddington and Vauxhall and extended to Battersea Park Station.
