As part of Black History Month 2007 and in order to raise awareness of the illness Sickle Cell, the event management and promotions company Cellar Door brought to you 'Best of British in support of the Sickle Cell Society' @ Guanabara, London. DJ's included the multi talented DJ collective Bugz in the Attic, Soul Heaven's DJ Aaron Ross, BBC Radio 1xtra's DJ Footloose and Thristian from Giles Peterson's Brownswood label. Live performances came from emerging British singer/songwriter Alex Mills, thought provoking Hip Hop artist Travis Blaque, Mercury Music nominated artist Ty, female vocalist NY (Split Endz vol 2) and Davinche performing with Steelo (closer / soul fever).

Joining the acts and DJ's was a performance from ABADA Capoeira UK and also Stuart George (Deepsax) on Sax

All proceeds from the event were donated to The Sickle Cell Society (Reg Charity Number 104 6631) whose work supports people living with the Sickle Cell disorders.
