When we talk about the "wilderness" (or "desert,") we often think of a place we try to avoid - a place that is barren, lonely, and unsettling. It's a place we try to avoid - or a place we try to get out of. But the Scripture paints a very different picture. This is powerfully, tremendously good news for those times when we're walking through the spiritual wilderness.
