AirHood® is a portable range hood and kitchen air cleaner that removes grease, smoke, and cooking odors, and stops oil films from forming on surfaces with its dual-filter system. The idea for AirHood™ was born from the need for user-friendliness and maintenance improvement for conventional, installed range hoods. Designer Maxime and Smart Product Concepts launched Airhood through crowdfunding on Kickstarter and achieved huge success. $500k+ was raised from 4000+ backers in 35+ countries.
Statement of the jury:
AirHood® is a mobile, powerful extractor hood that is simply placed next to the hob. A clever solution that impresses not only with its simple, functional design, but also with its convenient maintenance and cleaning.
