EXPLOITATION OF CREATIVE WORK.
(Traduzione in italiano a seguire) Berlin has an unemployment rate greater than 13% but its population is increasing daily. This is the city with the highest number of startups in Germany: in the district of Mitte gather 47 companies in only one street, the Chaussestrasse, now nicknamed "Silicon Street".

The multiplication of the members of this ecosystem denotes the formation of a mass that becomes an expanding market and therefore visible from the outside. The formation of a community, the digital community, made up of those who see the differences as an advantage, those who build starting from tolerance, who are not afraid neither to fail nor risk.

Half million people are now walking the streets of a city that was separated by a wall for decades, scene of disasters, of deep sadness and oppression. Today, Berlin, remains a preferred location by entrepreneurs and people with a clear mind, who still dare to dream and to create their own path, rather than wear business suits.

Attractive to the many entrepreneurs, as reported by the Chamber of Commerce, that founded, from 2008, a thousand and three hundred Internet startups, more than five hundreds of them only in the last three years. In 2012 more than seven hundred spaces for co-working were born in the city as part of an environment that startups need: a fertile soil in which clump together, exchange views and join minds.

The various digital technologies available and the lowering amount of capital needed to launch and grow companies have determined a fast raise in the number of software companies, promoting worldwide economic development.

What are the dark sides of such poor but sexy tech hub? Is it this merely a trend or the construction of a machine made to exceed and ecin the long run?

Through the documentary "Money can't steal authenticity", interviewing investors, founders and creatives of the Berlin' startup scene Alessandra Busignani (as part of her Master thesis) seeks for insights and answers to these and many other questions that emerged.

Berlino registra un tasso di disoccupazione superiore al 13% ma la sua popolazione è in aumento ogni giorno. Questa è la città con il maggior numero di start-up in Germania: nel quartiere di Mitte si riuniscono 47 aziende in una sola strada, la Chaussestrasse, ora soprannominata "Silicon Street".

La moltiplicazione dei membri di questo ecosistema indica la formazione di una massa che si traduce in un mercato in espansione e quindi visibile dall'esterno. La formazione di una comunità, la comunità digitale, costituita da coloro che vedono le differenze come un vantaggio, da chi costruisce a partire dalla tolleranza, di chi non ha paura né di fallire, né di rischiare.

Mezzo milione di persone stanno ora camminando per le strade di una città che è stata separata da un muro per decenni, teatro di disastri, di profonda tristezza e di oppressione. Oggi, Berlino, rimane la destinazione preferita dagli imprenditori e dalle persone con una mente chiara, che ha ancora il coraggio di sognare e di crearsi il proprio percorso, piuttosto che indossare giacca e cravatta.

Le varie tecnologie digitali disponibili e l'abbassamento della quantità del capitale necessario per avviare e far crescere le aziende hanno determinato un aumento rapido del numero di società di software, promuovendo lo sviluppo economico in tutto il mondo.

Quali sono i lati oscuri di tale centro tecnologico povero ma sexy? È questa una semplice tendenza o la costruzione di una macchina finalizzata per eccellere nel lungo periodo?

Attraverso il documentario "Il denaro non può rubare l'autenticità", intervistando investitori, fondatori e creativi, protagonisti della scena berlinese, Alessandra Busignani (come parte della sua tesi di Master) cerca approfondimenti e risposte a queste e molte altre domande emerse.
