Inaugural ceremony of "Women on Wheels" Bike Training Program held at Women University Kachhari Road Multan
CTO Multan Sardar Mavarhan Khan attended as the chief guest. On this occasion, Dr. Madiha Akram Focal Person CM Punjab Bike Scheme (Riding Autonomy), Prof. Dr. Kulsoom Paracha Vice Chancellor Women University Multan, Dr. Deeba Shahwar Chairperson Department of Mass Communication Women University, Lecturers Miss Amna Fazeel and Miss Sadia Talib, Muhammad Iftikhar Regional Manager Local Company, Traffic Education Unit and Driving School Staff attended.
The aim of the "Women on Wheels" program is to provide women and college and university students with the skills to ride bikes safely and confidently on the busy roads of the city. This program has been started in collaboration with City Traffic Police Multan and a local company. During the 7-day training session, free training is provided to the students of Women University so that they can easily cross the city traffic.
During the lecture, the Vice Chancellor said that it will prove to be important in increasing the strength of our women and ensuring their safety on the roads.
CTO Multan said during his address that this program will give the students a new direction for autonomy, freedom and mobility.
Finally, pamphlets were distributed among the university students regarding this program and a walk was held.
