Red Fort, Delhi : Located in the capital of india, Red fort orlalQuila is a very famous tourist attraction. According to the historical accounts, this massive fort was built by emperor shah jahan when he transferred the capital from agra to delhi. The construction of this began in the month of mujurram on 13, may 1638 and it took 10 years to complete the construction. Talking about the architecture of this fort, the main architects of this monument were ustadahmad and ustadhamid. The fort is located beside the river Yamuna and inside the fort there are many beautiful architectures and buildings whichincludeDiwan-e-aam, Diwan-e-khas, rang mahal, moti masjid and the peacock throne. Interestingly, the Kohinoor diamond was as part of the peacock throne. There are two entrances to enter the fort- Delhi gate and Lahore gate. Each year on independence day, the prime minister of india gives speech to the nation from lalquila.
