This webinar provides guidance on implementing integrated instruction for English learners (ELs) in the co-taught classroom. Participants examine how co-teachers create accessible, standards-based lessons for ELs through a continual cycle of co-planning, co-instruction, co-assessing, and joint reflection.
Dr. Maria G. Dove is Associate Professor in the Division of Education at Molloy College, Rockville Centre, New York, where she teaches courses to preservice and inservice teachers on research and best practices for developing effective programs and school policies for ELs. Before entering the field of higher education, she worked for over thirty years as an ESL teacher in public school settings (Grades K-12) and in adult English language programs in Nassau County, New York.
