Why is Antarctica not completely frozen? Yes....
This video talks about how the top layer of water in the Antarctic is frozen but the deeper parts of the ocean remain unfrozen. This is because of the phenomenon called "Insulation". Yes, the insulating property of ice on top leaves the water below and retains heat enough to keep it viable for lives to thrive underneath. Also, this natural phenomenon influenced humans to build structures called Igloos to survive the extreme cold weather up north and south and this is again used on a daily basis by every one of us.
