Due to the expected impact that the Covid-19 pandemic will have on the food systems of São Tomé and Príncipe, FAO will provide support to the agricultural production promotion campaign, launched by the government, providing emergency technical and financial assistance through the supply of seeds , phytopharmaceuticals and agricultural materials in order to provide farmers with the means and conditions to increase the production and productivity of local products, contributing to the guarantee and stability of the population's food and nutritional security.
