Being disabled does not mean that I am beneath those who don’t have a disability.
Being disabled does not mean that I am less than others.
Being disabled does not mean I am incapable.
Being disabled does not mean “I can’t do it without your help.”
It just means that I live my life differently than you do.
And being different is no excuse for being treated like a second-class citizen. PERIOD!!
The message here is simple:
1. Be kind
2. Be caring
3. Be loving
4. Be curious
5. And be supportive

#VideoDescription for the #Blind & #VisuallyImpaired: I am pointing to words on the screen as they appear in rhythm with the music. The words read “Stop treating people with disabilities like second class citizens.” I am wearing a white shirt with vertical stripes and have sandy brown hair.
