Scottish Conservatives leader Douglas Ross quoted criticisms from the SNP's Finance Secretary toward her own party at First Minister's Questions today.
One senior MSP described the conduct of Tuesday's SNP leadership debate “batshit f****** crazy”. The debate, broadcast by STV, featured prominent SNP ministers in a three-way slagging match, with Ash Regan declaring the SNP had "lost its way" and flatly rejected the party's long standing policy of achieving independence through a referendum.
Douglas Ross used the remarks as ammunition to attack the party's record in government—but not before being interrupted by yet another heckler in the public gallery—who stood up on a chair in a bid for attention.
